Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her aid and determination to enhancing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) services all through an engagement using the company's senior managers in a strategic preparing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled inside the 2024 matric final exams.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for that National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% with the registered pupils within the education and learning sector.
These learners achieved a commendable pass rate of 86%.
